The Accelerated Testing Environment has been successfully used and further developed in the development versions 0.2 and 0.3 in several project environments over the past two years. Deficiencies in usability as well as stability and functionality have been identified and corrected. We are now pleased to provide you with the Accelerated Testing Environment in version 1.0.

With the “Accelerated Testing Package” you can refine and complete your test scripts in an evolutionary way until they are ready for production. Each test run is fully documented in its sub-steps and results. The successfully tested test scripts can be used directly to have the execution and acceptance of the tests confirmed by the specialist departments.

Of course, this also allows you to determine the current and future workload for performing the tests in each function.

Version 1.0 was used in Q4/2022 and Q1/2023 by a long-standing SAP user with very experienced key users (from DE, UK and FR) and in-house consultants as part of several integration tests, each with approx. 200 test tasks/test scripts and approx. 2,000 test steps, both for managing the structure of the test scripts and for managing and monitoring the test execution itself. It was possible to verify that the previously identified deficiencies were successfully eliminated and that a stable and very easy-to-use test environment is now available.

Following the tests, the Accelerated Testing Environment was evaluated as follows by the 19 key users from a wide range of business functions and different countries (15 DE, 2 FR, 2 UK) as well as 5 SAP in-house consultants involved in the problem solutions:

The question “Would you recommend the use of the Accelerated Testing Environment to others?”, which was also asked, was answered “YES” by 100% of the participants in the survey.
